The Park Connector Network

One of Queens Peak’s best yet least discussed attribute is the Alexandra Park Connector directly behind it!

The Park Connector Network (PCN) is this great network of footpaths and cycling tracks that connects all major parks and prominent locations in Singapore. Click here to read more about the PCN.

Queens Peak happens to be alongside one of the most developed and attractive stretches of the PCN. The Alexandra Canal Linear Park is a portion of the PCN that links Commonwealth Ave to Tanglin Road. It starts from Queenstown MRT and runs along Strathmore Estate, before ending at Tanglin Road and connecting to the Alexandra Park Connector.

So our crew took a little (bicycle) ride down the stretch. We started from Queens Peak and went all the way down to the heart of the CBD. It took about 30 – 40 mins. Here’s our route:

Along the way, we took some great pictures while enjoying the beautiful scenery that the PCN has to offer.
